The five-day International Nuclear Law Essentials (INLE) course is designed to provide participants with a practical and comprehensive understanding of the various interrelated legal issues relating to the safe and peaceful use of nuclear energy. This intensive course in international nuclear law addresses the needs and interests of lawyers working in either the public or the private sector but will also be of interest to scientists, engineers, policymakers, managers and other professionals working in the nuclear field.
The International Nuclear Law Essentials programme builds on the foundation of the annual International School of Nuclear Law, which the Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA) co-sponsors with the University of Montpellier in France.
While the INLE is generally held in Paris, France, the 2018 INLE session was, for the first time, held outside of France at the National University of Singapore (NUS).
